Watch and Discuss?

So, I've been watching way more VH1 than I care to admit lately. I've noticed that during commercial breaks they run these short spots that say "Watch and Discuss". They also have the little bubbles that show up from time to time at the bottom of the screen encouraging viewers to "Watch and Discuss". The problem that I have with this is that these appear on screen during every program. One might ocasionally see a show on VH1 that merits serious discussion, but "Flavor of Love"? Come on.

You're all Sukkas!

It's "Take on Me" by Ah-Ha. You probably couldn't see the Norwegian accent in the typing, so it's OK that you didn't get it right.

Guess this song.

da da da duh duh duh duh duh da da duh duh da da da duh duh duh duh da duh duh da duh.

What song is that?

No guessing from Johnny. She heard me humming it to figure out all the da's and duh's.

(Altogether too) Democratic Chinese Food.

I ate at a Chinese Buffet today. Big mistake.

This was my first time ever eating at an all you can eat place like this. I honestly expected a lot of really crappy food. What I got was a lot of not so bad food. Seriously, it was a lot tastier than I thought it would be.

The problem with a buffet is that it is not intended to be a meal. When one eats at a buffet one does not enter with the goal of satisfying their hunger, one enters with the goal of getting his money's worth. And that's what I did. So even though the food was pretty good, I walked out of the buffet deeply regretting having come in the first place. Go figure.

New Blog Post

I can't think of any conceivable reason for anyone to actually want to read up on my opinions. I'm going to think about this for a while, and I'll get back as soon as I come up with one.
